The Cango Bale shredder chamber is designed to handle all round and square bales. The design lets the bale rotate over the adjustable rotor, which shreds the bale into 25 mm to 150 mm pieces. The self-loading door is an additional component on the shredder and is a big time saver. The round bales are simply rolled on to the door, which lifts it into the shredder by means of a hydraulic cylinder. The shredder can be fitted on any hammer mill, but for the best productivity we advised that our shredder is fitted on a Cango Industrial hammer mill.

The Cango hammer mill is available in 2 sizes and can be driven by means of electric motor, diesel motor or a tractor P.T.O.
The most popular model is the 900 mm Ø x 800 mm wide with a 75 kW motor. The kilowatt of the motor is directly linked to the capacity that is needed.
Some of the unique characteristics of the Cango mill include the large screen area and depending on the model the quantity of hammers will vary between 72 and 144 hammers.
Where the Cango hammer mill and the Cango bale shredder works in combination, the capacity of the hammer mill is doubled due to the fact that material is being cut by the shredder first.
The 900 mm Ø x 800 mm wide with a 75 kW motor gave the following capacity readings:
• with a 8 mm Screen – 6 Ton per hour
• with a 25 mm Screen – 18 Ton per hour
A further advantage of the combination shredder and hammer mill allows for a safety mechanism, that regulates the inflow of feed from the shredder to the hammer mill.

During feed processing protein is lost, this filter is designed to recapture 95% of what would have been lost and put it back into the feed. By doing this it eliminates dust from the premises.

This filter is self cleaning by means of pulsating.

The silo works in conjunction with the filter and can store 4 – 7 Tons of material. Material discharge is eased by means of live bottom augers.
